I was looking to buy a car at Stable Auto Sales in Honey Brook on Route 322. Earlier today, I test drove it and liked it. I went back at 4:30pm with my mom to look at the car and possibly purchase it. When we went in, they said "you came in earlier and wanted to by through their finance program" and I said yes. They said that they couldn't sell me a car through this method because I am on Unemployment and am unemployed. My mom was ok with this and then said that SHE wanted to purchase the vehicle. They said that they couldn't sell the car to her because I was unemployed. My mom said that she was purchasing the car and it had nothing to do with me. She said "I have a job and money to buy the vehicle." They still wouldn't sell us the car and were very, very rude about the whole situation. Mom walked out saying "I had $1,700 to put down on the car and you must not like cash or a sale." They didn't discuss other options with us and wouldn't give us the time of day. It was totally obnoxious. Never buy a car from them. They obviously don't like to sell to women.
