From historic Kukuihaele Village, we ride past sugar cane fields and taro patches, enjoying spectacular views accessible only on horseback. Hear rushing waters plunge into the valley and savor the vista of a mile wide black sand beach edging the valley below. Maui's Haleakala seems to float on the horizon, as Mauna Kea and the rainforest clad hills of Kohala surround you. Take a lunch break at a shady glen and soak it all in.
