This is the place! It's recently rated #1 in Honolulu.

My wife and I ate dinner there, Sunday evening, 10/17/2010. We have been to Alan Wong's (also great food - 1/2 again as expensive), and several other 'Foodie suggested' restaurants. The service was great, the food delicious. Among the many highlights - they have a unique approach to the wine (at least by the glass). Our waiter allowed us to try several different wines to determine what we'd like to go with our meal. Everyone was gracious - from the hostess to all of the wait staff, each course explained and delivered in a timely fashion. We don't understand why there isn't standing room only for this gem.
