In 1994, KHON2 became the first commercial television station in Hawaii to establish a site on the Internet. KHON2 is the Fox affiliate located in Honolulu. The television station provides news-based programming from 5-8 a.m., followed by news at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. KHON2 airs Hawaii World Report at 5:30 p.m. The news programs address national and local issues. It also provides updated news and programming information throughout the day. Along with its local news offerings the station provides a variety of syndicated and Fox s national programs including The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, That 70s Show and The O.C.
