KIKU considers itself to be one of Hawaii's premiere multicultural television stations. The station broadcasts more than 100 hours of programming from throughout the world in five languages every week, which includes more than 30 hours weekly of Japanese language shows. It also airs programming found on UPN, which includes America s Next Top Model, Everybody Hates Chris, Friday Night Smackdown and Veronica Mars. Japanese programming seen on the station include Classic Abarendbo Shogun, Heaven s Coin 2, Omiya-San and Soko Ga Shiritai.
