Gorge Flyboard was established in 2013 to introduce Hood River to the newest board sport in the country. While standing on a small board similar to a wakeboard the rider is propelled through the water and into the air by the water pressure created by a jet ski. A certified instructor gives real time instructions via a two way headset. Although it may look extreme it is a very safe activity and easily learned. Unlike other board sports Flyboarding is easily learned. You can be flying around over the water in a few short minutes.
