Founded in 1889, Hoosac School is a coeducational, college preparatory school enrolling boarders and a few day students in Forms II-VI (Grades 8-12) and a postgraduate program. The school offers its students library privileges at the colleges and at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It also conducts a variety of cultural programs for its students. Hoosac School is chartered by the New York State Board of Regents and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
