I was in this store around 11:00 am. I was in looking for a toboggan/beanie for my nephew. I didn't know exactly where to look so I asked an associate. He replied I would not know where to look if we had them. He then walked away. I walked towards the men's dept and I saw an associate standing there talking on a cell phone. She looked at me and I said excuse me but could you tell me whaere I caould look for a toboggan. She said I wouldn't know and went back to talking on her phone. I promise this happened. I then walked to a register and ask if the clerk could tell me where I could find a toboggan. Her reply was... I don't know if we have them but if so go doen this middle isle towards the items maked Magellan. I know there are hats back there so possibly a toboggan. Her name was ELANA and she gets 5 stars. I then ask for a manager and she said I walk you to customer service and she did and ask the lady there to call the manager up front. His name would be Andy. He never appeared. I know that's a big store...........But really. Does it take 15 minutes to walk from back (if that's where you are) to the front. They called again and still a no-show. I did go to the area Elana told me and I found my beanie and had it not been for her kindness... I wouldn't have given this store a dime. Customer service is bad. This is the second eposide I have had with them and I will not return ever. I hope corporate reads this because this season you can at least hire kind associates who are willing to help. Neither were busy at the moment and still avoided helping me.

Very nice place plus my favorite sporting goods store to shop at price aren't to high and you have a wide variety of things to choose from...

I know this individual named Justin whom wrote this review. Strange that you, Justin, would be bold enough to post with your real name and a picture. As someone who witnessed your character and low work ethic in addition to immoral behavior, I can speak truthfully that you never provided the respect to your leadership. I'm embarrassed for you and your obvious lack of written proficiency reveals the nature of your lack of professionalism. Academy Sports is well known for their customer service and superior work ethic. You get the respect you deserve. Academy did more for you than they had too and what most companies would not have. Academy continued in offering you the ability to work through coaching and mentoring. Instead, you chose to make everyone on the team miserable and fueled unnecessary drama because you were obviously an unhappy individual. You chose your destiny based on your lack of character and dishonesty. It is the discretion of the leadership, basing their decision on performance, to accept a two week notice resulting in the ability to be re-hired at a future date. Or the decision is to terminate the employee at the receipt of their resignation which is immediate due to low performance and puts that terminated employee in a non-rehire status with the approval of HR. It was a unanimous decision to accept your resignation immediately. We wish you success in your future endeavors.

Hello I'm a former employee at that store I tell u if ur looking to work there don't they treat there emploees as bad as the customers I put notice in cause I found nother job just be nice we'll that day I put it in I didn't even finish day how wrong and disrespectful can u be never seen such low down crappy people in my life yea I know I'm bashing them but just saying that store is so poorly ran it's not even funny they could care less about u there's also a guy who's over the freight crew he's like the devil man is rude and had ran off more people than I can strart he's problem but they never wake up and see it so just day yea shop there but if u won't. A job there I wouldn't do it worst job I've ever had they have not one once oh respect for there emploees there
