I had been planning to purchase a bed for months. My husband and I went to the Hoover location on a Saturday. We were immediately greeted Kate, with a smile upon entering the store.

Kate asked our preference and directed us to the different bedroom styles. She wasn't forceful nor pushy. She gave us space and checked on us regarding our interests.

Oh my goodness, she was so sweet and professional. My husband and I left to look at another store, because we wanted be certain. But we came right back and purchased it from Kate. The bed arrived and we absolutely Love It. Thanks Kate for being patient with me and my husband.

Find somewhere else to purchase. The furniture quality is sub par and the customer service is even worse. I was tricked into signing up for some kind of furniture leasing program that ends up costing way more than purchase price when I thought i was signing up for 90 days same as cash. It's taken over 3 months and even after talking to corporate, there is still no resolution. I'll never deal with these people ever again.

Wish I had read the reviews first.
I was going to buy the same furniture from a company online and have it shipped to my house. It was cheaper by around 200$. The salesperson at Ashley told me "well then you have to assemble it and if you buy from us, it will come assembled." Lie.
I bought from Ashley and opted for customer pickup rather than pay a ridiculous amount of 150$ delivery (we live about 6 miles from the warehouse). I'm movers brought it to my home in BOXES unassembled. We opened the box with the table and the entire base was broken with missing parts.
Customer service rep said they could maybe just ship that piece. They ended up not being able to. Now my new table is in stock and I don't feel that I should be responsible for return of this table and delivery of the new one. I should not be responsible beyond the first delivery, no matter how I got it here because it was damaged. I factored in delivery cost with my purchase and I didn't factor in 2 deliveries.
They say because they didn't deliver it that they aren't responsible. I completely disagree since it was a problem with their broken product. So my new table has been sitting in the warehouse for a couple weeks and I have no way to bring it to my house.
Will not buy from ashley again.

Worst customer service!!! I ordered a sofa, love seat and chair on 9/5 - delivered on 10/6 - sofa frame was broken, sent it back, waited 2 more weeks for them to call to schedule delivery. They called late on a Friday so Sat schedule was already full. I asked for the next Sat in the afternoon - now they say they can't come in the afternoon and are not willing to work with me at all. I should not have to take any more time off work to wait on them - I'm a CUSTOMER!! Or was - will never buy another thing from this store and I will tell everyone I know about the bad experience.

I ordered a sofa & loveseat 2/5/16 was delivered 3/5/16 damaged. It was turned and re-ordered & delivered to the warehouse 17days later 3/22/16 and then they want to deliver it to me a week later 3/29/16 not acceptable. They need to be accommodating to me not the other way around. Totally bad experience would never recommend.

SMH I purchased furniture on Jan 21 and now Im being told that it won't be available for pickup until March 24th! No one informed me that the dates had been pushed back due to the rug being on backorder. HELLO!? I could've waited on the rug! Send my sectional!! It's been a nightmare trying to deal with the store personel.

Dissapointed in purchase

I purchased a sofa and loveseat in nov received it in December 2014 the sofa squeaks and loveseat coushion is sagging I contacted customer care they sent someone out and the technician agreed the loveseat had a problem that it would be replaced today jan 7 I received a foam piece and coushion cover in the mail this is junk furniture and no one even came to put on the new coushion to the loveseat nothing was said about the sofa that sounds like it's falling apart when you sit on it very disappointed with this purchase I paid way to much to have had broke furniture not even owning it but for 5 weeks it will be ready for the garbage within a year

I bought a chair from this store, the chair lean to another side and also has scratch on the surface. I called them to replace it. They said based on the company policy, we have to send a person to fix it. And the person will show up in 10 days. That means I have to sit on the broken chair for another 10 days!!!--------------I spent $400 to buy a new chair, I got a broken chair, I can't replace it, I can't return it, I have to wait another 10 days to see if they can fix it. Get away with Ashely Furniture!!! They should rename A-s-s-h-o-l-e furniture!!

Ashley Furniture does not deliver

I purchased a new table and 8 chairs on July 1st. My son was graduating from Univ. Alabama on Aug 9th and I needed the furniture to accommodate all of the people that would be at our house. 3 weeks later I inquired as to the status of my order and I was informed that Ashley Furniture Dist. Center had not as yet picked up the display table from the store. I informed them that I did not buy the display model, I bought a NEW table. Fast forward to Aug 8th. I have eleven people at my house, we have dinner planned, but no table and chairs!! I called the Dist. Center and they informed me that the table was there and it would be delivered in 7 days. Now I don't understand why it takes 7 days to load a table and chairs onto a truck and deliver it!!! Needing this furniture, I got my son-in-law and my youngest daughter's boy friend, who both have pick-up trucks, to take me to the Dist. Center to get my furniture. Now I paid $100 to have this furniture delivered and assembled. I was told by the store that I would have be refund in 5 working days. It has be 10 working days and no refund. Quite frankly, I don't think that I will be doing business with Ashley Furniture again.
