Provided by YP.comWe have just completed our seventh year with CCS. Both of our children attended from birth through four years old. We could not have found a better place. The staff is amazing and both of our children thrived under their care. You can easily see the heart the staff has for children. The best thing about CCS is their commitment to providing a Christian environment. From the moment you walk in the door you know this is a priority of CCS. We appreciate all that CCS did for our children and would recommend them to anyone.

Provided by YPmobileWe joined the CCS family a little over four years ago after utilizing a few other daycare options. We were in a pinch, and thank goodness, they had an opening for our daughter. Our son shortly thereafter, started attending and we have been blown away. These teachers and staff go over and beyond on a daily basis to take care of these children like they are their own as well as providing superior academic instruction. It may be a little more expensive than some other area schools, but we have no regrets. It is worth every single penny. CCS does a lot of outreach and work in the community as well as provide many "give-backs" to the parents such as "Parents Night Out" and other complimentary events both on and off site. I honestly have no complaints about CCS. If there is ever an issue with a child, they will work with the family through it. It is amazing what all they are able to teach the children. We have made some life long friends there and I would recommend to anyone that wants the best for his/her child.

Provided by YP.comPlease note that CCS is DHR exempt and are not held to the standards that are meant to keep our children safe. On two separate occasions my child was strapped into a chair in the 2 1/2 - 3 yr old class (two different classrooms) for discipline reasons. That is considered restraint and not okay by my standards. Then the teachers lied about why he was strapped in and were reprimanded. After the second chance I wasn't giving a third and we have pulled him out. There is also extremely high turnover at this school now which is not the way it has always been. If you are considering CCS please ask about discipline practices and teacher turnover.

Provided by YP.comIn response to Maneesh205, I'd like to note that as a parent at CCS disruptive children can cause such a domino effect in a class. CCS prides itself on being a structured environment, and with children and parents who don't strive to maintain the expected level of structure in the classroom I find it comforting that CCS doesn't condone or tolerate this for the sake of other children. I have a friend and a current parent who is a military family (2 kids) where the father was deployed for a full year. Their son often had difficulties dealing with the absence of his father, but when there were troubling days CCS worked with his mom in helping them to gain control of the situation instead of expecting these often young teachers to just deal with it. Yes the teachers are young and often not "certified" but they have been through weeks of training for that particular environment and often have servant hearts that love, care and nurture the children. I'd take that over a certificate any day. Situations are all different, but I would advise any family that is looking for a true Christian environment for their child to grow in, choose CCS. The academic excellence and Biblical character teaching only adds to the many reasons that my family chooses CCS.

Provided by YP.comMy son has been attending for a little over a year (he's two and a half now). I wish I would have started him at CCS instead of another school! He knows his alphabet, he can count to 20, knows his colors, shapes and more! His teachers have been extremely loving and accommodating.
Overall, administration has been pleasant to work with. We may not always agree but we are both willing to work toward an acceptable solution to any problems.

Provided by YP.comWe discovered Covenant Classical 11 years ago when our youngest child was 2. She grew intellectually and spirituality during her time at Covenant. When it was time to place her in public school she was more than prepared and she continues to excel in her classes. Each of our children have gone to the Southlake Covenant campus since. Our son’s favorite part of the day is Bible study and he loves to shares the stories with us each afternoon. I can not say enough about the teaching and administrative staff at Covenant. They are wonderful and genuinely care about the children at the school. The classes are not over crowded which allows the teachers time to work with each child individually. We drive an extra 20 minutes each morning and afternoon because my husband and I know we will never find another daycare/school that compares to the Southlake Covenant Classical School. I go to work each day knowing that my children are safe and in the best care available.

Provided by YP.comMy son has been attending Covenant for 3 years now and it has been a true blessing. My wife and I are amazed daily about what all he knows and what he learns every day. He is 4, going on 5, and knows everything from his alphabet and numbers, counting by 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, all the way to his states and capitals and his presidents. The teachers have been very loving and attentive and the directive staff has been great as well! Covenant is not the cheapest in town, but in my opinion it is worth every penny!

Provided by YP.comCovenant Classical School is truly a remarkable environment. We have been amazed for 6 years by the consistency in quality, attitude of employees, and low rate of turn-over. Mr. Nate Wells has an AMAZING group of employees that will thoughtfully, lovingly nurture and teach your child from newborn through Kindergarten. For 6 years my child and I have been greeted by name in the morning and the evening as we are coming and going.
Once my child struggled with a particular issue- his teacher took it upon herself to come up with a plan of action that respected the feelings of my son.
The tuition isn't the cheapest in town but well worth every penny.

Provided by YP.comWow, what a great place to send your child. My daughter has been enrolled since she was 9 month old and we have never regretted our decision on sending her here. The teachers are all amazing. Mr. Wells run the school great, which I guess would explain very low turnover in the staff. Adam and Jennifer always greets you with a smile and handle any concerns I have. My daughter loves going, Everyday she learns something new and I love she is learning Christian values too,

Provided by YP.comThis place by far has exceeded my expectations. My daughter was there for a year until she started kindergarden last year and she was more than prepared. My son has been ther since he was 3 months old. He is 2 now, and is counting, knows his colors, and learns about everything! The staff and directors included are amazing! CCS is the best place for Schoolcare in Birmingham! Thumbs up!

Provided by YP.comI have actually told my best friend that this school is awesome. My daughter is 2 and she knows her colors, she can count to 20, she knows the alphabet. This was actually turned the age of 2. Her vocabulary is like that of a 5 year old. Everyone should have their children start here.

Provided by YP.comWe have been attending Covenant Classical School for a little over a year now, and in that time my two-now-three year old has been learning so much! This past summer he has come home talking about everything from George Washington to Mars...This is definitely "School-care" and not just "Child-care". The teachers, as well as the administration, have always been super-friendly and encouraging to our son. We would definitely recommend Covenant to anyone.

Provided by YP.comWe have been at CCS for 2 years now. We are very pleased and our child is very happy here. We are very impressed with everything she is learning, education-wise as well as morals and good behavior. The teachers are very loving and caring, I have always felt that my child is well cared for. In addition to the daily activities they have, the school has special events like a father-daughter dance, Christmas and end of the year programs which we love to attend. We can tell the teachers and administration work really hard to put these events together, which to me shows they go above and beyond. This is not "daycare"...it is so much more and we are so thankful to be a part of the CCS family.
