My mother went to this establishment recently and has been very disappointed. We have paid a great deal of money for promises that have not been met. The food is terrible . The treatment of some elderly residents are unacceptable. We are now looking elsewhere and will take our loses. good luck for anyone left

My mother-in-law lived at Rocky Ridge for almost 3 years till her death. The food is varied and usually delicious, and the apartments and other facilities are spacious and tasteful. The staff were very kind to her as her health declined, often bringing meals to her, checking on her, etc. Rather than encourage her to move, they made every effort to make her feel welcome and include her in social activities. Our only complaint is that the included maid service is very nearly useless; you have to take care of cleaning yourself. However, the public spaces are kept clean and cheerful. Holidays in particular are pleasant and homey--Thanksgiving 2009 was delicious. The management staff (which like most similar facilities turns over frequently) are genuinely friendly and it seems that the corporate structure grants them enough freedom to manage the building well. My mother-in-law, who tried two other places before Rocky Ridge, was very happy there.
