When you donate goods to The Salvation Army, those items are then sold at our Family Stores. Proceeds are used to fund our Adult Rehabilitation Centers, where those struggling with drugs and alcohol find help, hope, and a second chance at life.

Worst Salvation Army store I have ever been in -- employees are the rudest, most hateful people in the world. I have never encountered such disrespect by a donation site in my life.

i have been there hundreds of times and never once have i seen anyone NOT help people with their donations. i have gotten lots of great things there! yes they are a little high on some things, but all thrift stores are higher now. it is cheaper by far than out in oregon, where i am from.

I have dropped off donations a few times, and the man who was out there didn't even help me take the boxes out of the car. The lazy son-of-a-gun sat there like a jack leg bum sittin' on a porch (he'd actually dragged himself an armchair out there) and watched while I, a 50's female, unloaded an SUV full. Then he offered me a receipt without getting up out of the chair. I suppose I was to walk up there and take it from his lazy fingers. I also visited the store twice. Their prices were too high as well. :(
