Do not use this place!!!

Worst experience of my life. Mandy the owner over promises and under delivers. The cake she delivered 2.5 hours late looked like a child's art project at best. It was unlevel, the fondant was torn in several places, the edges were gapped, and it didn't include the colors or many of the details we discussed. Moreover, when she did bring the cake (after refusing to let us pick it up, like we arranged in our consultation), she left it on the counter unannounced. The cake looked so bad, I wouldn't even serve it to my guests!!! I tried to call and text her several times. When she finally answered her phone, she said "It was my problem" and hung up on me. You will be sorry if you patron this place.

Cake was raw and inedible

My daughter in law contacted Extreme Cakes and asked if they could make a cake for my grandson's 1st birthday. The owner Byron said no, they were booked, so my daughter in law found another company to do it. Before she was able to meet with the other company, Byron's wife Mandy called and said she had a cancellation and could fit my grandson's cake in and would give her a better deal than the other company. MANDY booked the "overnight baking session" not my daughter in law. If your business cannot fulfill an order as promised, DO NOT accept the order. When my daughter in law picked up the cake, although the design and colors were a bit different than the picture, she was still pleased with the look of the cake. She paid for the cake and gave Mandy a tip. However, when it came time to cut and serve the cake to the guests, the second tier of this three tier cake was underbaked/raw and not edible. Yes, the first and third tier was served. Taking a cake back at the time of the party and leaving guests with nothing would have been MORE embarrassing. My daughter in law called Mandy right away and Mandy apologized and offered to give part of her money back on my cake if she brought the raw portion back. We saved the raw portion. My daughter in law still has it a week later. When my daughter in law called Mandy later to ask if she could meet up with Mandy to bring her the cake, several phone calls and several days later Mandy still wouldn't take her calls. Instead, Byron, her husband, texted my daughter in law and told her that Mandy was busy and that he would give 20% off her next order. She told him she wouldn't be needing another cake from them and would like to have money back as promised. Moments later she recieved a very disturbing call from Mandy. Mandy yelled at her and cussed her out using very bad language and then hung up on her. On the "home page" for extreme-cakes.com and on the "about us" page , it states, "We have made quality the cornerstone of all our efforts because our customers are an extension of our family. We serve our community best by ensuring that our customers' special celebrations become extraordinary memories. We take pride in knowing that our creations will be part of that special moment in someone's life. We are here to ensure that your celebration becomes an extraordinary memory". It was embarrassing to serve our guests raw cake. Mandy owes my daughter in law a very big apology and money back for the raw cake as promised. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and an apology and promise kept to her would have been very good customer service. Customers should never be cussed or yelled at and hung up on.
