Provided by YPmobileI'm on the road for work, travel to new places every couple months, always on the lookout for great ma and pa places, especially fish.
The first time here I had the whiting, I was overjoyed, it was delicious, I couldn't wait to try it again. The second time I got the Cod.
Well this is where I was super dissatisfied, the breading was super soggy, still white with light browning on the edges, what made it even worse the greasy French fries were dumped on top of my to go order which the undercooked fish soaked up making it a 15 dollar lunch I threw away.
Certainly not what I would call quality control at all. Step up your game and I'd give 5 stars for sure, I'm going to try one more time!
I would have brought it back but I don't leave the jobsite, someone always pics up the lunches for all the guys and by the time we do a 14 hr day not really in the mood to drive out of the way to complain.

Provided by YP.comBest fish, whether it's the whiting or the cod, in the world! Yes, I said world! My husband who lived all his growing up yrs. in Cadiz and I did for several yrs., always went to Hopedale for their great fish. We've lived in England for almost 4 yrs. and also Saudi Arabia for 3 yrs. and we saw a lot of the world and ate lots of fish in many countries, but would come home and have to have Lou's fish! It is the BEST! Light and delicate coating on the fish and is hand breaded. Their fried zucchini and coleslaw are also Great, as is everything else we've eaten there. They have a great salad/soup bar too. Lots of deserts, but we're usually too full to have any. Worth the trip if you are even remotely in the area. We don't live in the area anymore but still occasionally go there, a 1 1/2 hour drive away, just to get their fish! The atmosphere is decorated with fish motif and has a aquarium and is very homey. It's casual dining but they are just down home folks and the staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Can't beat the best fish in the world and the price is very reasonable too.
