Provided by YP.comMy son went through their infant, toddler, preschool and pre-k program and it truly was a wonderful experience. Every teacher he had was caring and dedicated. Their curriculum is terrific. I'll miss BH when he goes to kindergarten!

Provided by YP.comI agree with everything that previous reviewer Linda T said with some additions. For our 2 yr old, the teachers wouldn't comfort her when we left. She would be crying and no one would even pick her up. This is the worst daycare center we have tried.

Provided by YP.comI read these reviews below and sent my kids there on the faith of getting the best daycare around in this area. Let me tell you, it is not truly what you paid for.
They charge you so much more than any daycare centers in the same area. But they provide much less. I had to withdraw my kids after knowing that they do not learn much at all comparing to other places, EVEN THEY SAID THEY DID. Now, they are in another school, which I paid for less than $50 a day for 12 hours with absolutely great teachers and tons of actives to do throughout the day.
BH has the longest napping hours, from 12:30 to 3:00, while other places are 2 hours. They let kids go on the play ground for 1 hour in the morning, while other places are 0.5 hour. Do your math, total 3.5 hours already. I paid almost 60 dollars a day for 6 hours for them to stay there and half of the time is napping and on the playground. 1 hour of the rest of time is snacking and lunch. The teacher in the room will go for lunch at 11am. The sub-teacher will come in. So, from 11am to 12 lunch time, they pretty much do nothing, but playing by themselves. DO YOU OWN WORK to figure out what your kids are doing every day! I paid top dollars for just less than 1 hour of learning experiences. This is super pricey! It's totally not worth it!
I truly can tell the differences when they were in BH or the place that they are in now. They are much happier in their current place than BH at fishkill. MUCH HAPPIER! It's the teacher that made the change. I would not go back to BH

Provided by YP.comTruly the best daycare around, through unfortunate trial and error we also had negative experiences at other daycares in the area. Bright Horizons is far and above the best daycare program. It has a caring experienced staff, wonderful programs for child development and a terrific facility. We couldn't be happier!

Provided by YP.comWe recently moved our two children to Bright Horizons after a negative experience at another Hopewell Junction daycare. Our experience at Bright Horizons has been better than we ever could have expected. In fact, I find myself wondering why I wasted years at another daycare. I didn't choose Bright Horizons 3 years ago, because I was deterred by the high price. I've since learned that you get what you pay for.
Here's a short list of how Bright Horizon compares to other local daycares:
(1) Student to teacher ratios: At our last daycare, the infant room had 1 teacher for every 4 infants. One of the teachers was focused on her own daughter, who was in the infant room. This meant that the other teachers juggled the care of 7 infants. At Bright Horizons, we’ve never seen more than 2 infants per teacher. Our baby is often the only infant in the mornings. At the end of the day, there are 2 teachers and 4 infants. In the preschool room, there are rarely more than 4 or 5 students per teacher, which means that our preschooler gets lots of 1x1 attention at Bright Horizons. At our old daycare, there were 3 teachers struggling to maintain control with 25 students.
(2) When we toured daycares 3 years ago, every daycare director told us that they wash infant toys daily. At our old daycare, the infant teachers confirmed that they only washed toys when there was an outbreak of a particularly bad virus (e.g., coxsackievirus). At Bright Horizons, I’ve witnessed the teachers cleaning toys every single day. It’s no surprise that my children haven’t been sick once since switching to Bright Horizons. At their old daycare, they were sick almost every other week.
(3) Most importantly, our preschooler is learning so much more at Bright Horizons than at her old daycare .When we asked her what she did at her old daycare, she would tell us about the children with whom she played all day. Since moving to Bright Horizons, she tells us about art projects with the art teacher and working on numbers with her primary teacher. My husband and I marvel at how much faster her pace of learning has become since moving to Bright Horizons.
We couldn’t be happier at Bright Horizons and are so grateful to have moved our children there. It would be worth any price.
