Founded in 1987, Transition Networks first products adapted coaxial cable to twisted-pair cables and connected terminals to mainframe computers. The company was renamed Transition Networks in 1995 after previously being known as Transition Engineering. In 1998, Transition Networks was purchased by Communication Systems. Transition Networks offers networking connectivity solutions that make the conversion between disparate media types possible.
