Elmwood School serves students in grades two and three. It is a part of Hopkinton Public Schools. It offers an extensive curriculum that includes reading, music, special education, mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. Its library offers a collection of chapter, picture, poetry and nonfiction books, as well as tapes, CDs and reading materials. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as Math Night, Colonial Crafts Day, Geodomes, globe making and May events. Its art studio provides training in pastel drawing, clay tools, sculpture and mask making. Apart from Elmwood School, Hopkinton Public Schools governs preschool, middle and high schools.
