Calling this lumber yard for the first time, I was very impressed with the friendly and helpful customer service. Looking for rough sawn lumber to make into cabinets for finishing my upstairs they provided valuable suggestions with reasonable prices. They far exceed their competition.



I’d like to point out that their competitor, “Campbell Mill Lumber Inc” was the complete opposite. The Campbell person I spoke with quoted me $6 a foot for 1”x6” green Red Oak, while Thompson’s quote was $3.50 for an entire 10 foot section. To top it off, the Campbell person told me, and I quote, “I don’t have any more time to waste with you.” when I asked why their price was so high.
