My boyfriend and I stopped in Aberdeen for the night on Saturday. We were on a Road trip from Portland. We had no idea what we were getting into when we pulled into the Trav Lure Motel. First they put us in a room with dirty needles behind the bed. We ask to be moved since there are no refunds... They had us wait outside the other room while one guy walked in the room with a spray bottle of Dollar Tree 'Febreze' to 'clean' it. The room wreaked of cigarettes even tho it was 'no smoking' and the bathroom toilet wasn't cleaned at all. In the bathroom cabinet under the sink there was a pile of wet, moldy, wadded up, used towels. Dust was everywhere. Blood stains on the ceiling. The bathroom door had no door knobs so you could easily get stuck in there... There was less than half a roll of toilet paper. The lamps In the rooms didn't have lamp shades. The room was absolutely disgusting. We found used condom wrappers, women's dirty underwear, empty drug baggies, rig caps... You name it. and the people in the room next door were up all hours of the night and had about thirty of forty different visitors. People banging on their door asking to come in all night long. Eventually around midnight We asked them to please be quiet and they straight up told us no. I couldn't believe it. We stayed fully clothed and grabbed a blanket from my car because the room was filthy and there was no way we were sleeping in that bed. The sheets had black meth pipe stains and blood stains on them... and long hairs on the pillows. I slept maybe an hour or two due to the loud noises coming from next door and the fact that I was worrying about someone breaking into my car. I kept hearing loud banging noises and some of the 'residents' were outside by my car smashing aluminum cans onto the concrete at 4 am or working on their bikes. We tried to call 'the office' to make a noise complaint and no answer of course Also, when we first got there.... We witnessed the owner of the motel banging on some of the doors asking for money because people weren't paying. The people in the rooms basically ran the show because they would all talk to him through the window telling him to go away and that they would have his money later. I will do my research next time I have to stay somewhere on a whim... And I've learned my lesson on trying to save a buck. NEVER AGAIN!!
