We went to CB Pastries a while back first to order a small cake for my mother's 90th birthday. We ordered a diabetic friendly chocolate cake with a sugar free whipped topping and fresh strawberries inside. Everyone in the nursing home, as well as all of us children, really enjoyed the cake, both in taste and in presentation. I dislike anything sugar free, but the way this cake was made you could barely tell.

After that order, my wife and I decided we would also use them for our vow renewal ceremony. The cake was beautiful, stunning even. We had a fondant cake, and the fondant was very thin and light. The taste of the cake was outstanding. We only got a small slice when we did the ceremonial cutting, but we did manage to have some cake left over that we brought home and served for breakfast the next day. It was delicious. The cakes are scratch cakes, and very moist and dense, much like a pound cake. This is exactly what we wanted, as we dislike the taste of store-bought cakes. The two flavors that made it home were banana split and amaretto cream. I highly recommend BOTH of those flavors!

We also contracted with CB Pastries for a really fun smores tower for all the kids and grandkids to enjoy while at the wedding. This was a huge hit, and their staff was very good about keeping things neat and orderly, and helping the children make the smores.

Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with this bakery.

We hired CB Pastries for our wedding and groom's cakes, as well as an awesome smores buffet. We couldn't be happier! Everything was delicious, down to the gourmet marshmallows and the decadent chocolate cake. And, even better, everything was beautiful too. Highly recommend these guys
