Horseheads High School is affiliated with the Horseheads Central School District and is located in Horseheads, N.Y. The school offers academic classes in grades 9 through 12. It has a faculty staff of more than 150 full-time certified teachers, including a nurse, physical therapist, health and physical education teacher, foreign language professional, psychologist and guidance counselor. The school organizes the National Merit scholarship program that provides financial support to students. It maintains various extracurricular teams, including Academic Challenge, Colorguard, Equestrian and Greenroom Players. The school also has several clubs, including hero, interact, northlight art and science Olympiad. In addition, Horseheads High School operates a student council that sponsors different activities which benefit the school and the community.
