Hortonville Middle School serves more than 500 students in grades five through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies, as well as foreign languages. The school s foreign language department conducts classes in French and Spanish. Each of its students participates in an elective program with options of art, drama, music, industrial arts, technology and home arts. The school also conducts classes in health and physical education for all grades. Hortonville Middle School participates in a district-wide comprehensive literacy initiative that emphasizes analytical reading and writing skills. Located in Hortonville, Wis., the school is a part of the Hortonville Area School District.
