Ate lunch there Sunday with wife and daughters and it was awesome, even our waitress was awesome too! The food was cooked very well, all the way around great fry! I'm not sure what I would call a favorite from my order or my wife's, but I do have to say those fried crawfish, fried oysters, and shrimp was great, then there was the catfish! This place reminded me of being back in New Orlean's/Metarie at Deanie's at the foot of the dam off the Causeway on Lake Ponchartrain. I look forward to dining there again!

Hot Springs has long awaited a new place to eat and hangout and Fat Jack's has finally done just that....ideally. Ideally, Fat Jacks is the best thing to happen to Hot Springs night-life in 20 years. However, because of poor design, planning and execution, Fat Jack's is, in its present state, a fat bust. I was there with friends on its opening weekend to eat and then move upstairs to listen to the live music. We did not get to eat due to the dining area seats maybe 50 people and we did not get to stay and hear the band because the upstairs bar area seats less than 50 people. It's a shame that such a great place would limit themselves by size. From what I personally witnessed, Fat Jack's lost more business than they gained just by people having to leave due to the lack of space.
