The Garland County Sheriff s Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that operates various divisions, including criminal, special and technical investigation units. Its criminalistics laboratory is staffed with criminalists, crime lab technicians and photographic services personnel. The Garland County Sheriff s Department has four divisions that include field operations, criminal investigations, support services and community services. Its field operations division is responsible for the uniformed patrol force of Hot Springs, Ark. The department s officers patrol the city s streets, answer calls for service and work with the community to solve problems. The Garland County Sheriff s Department offers a range of forensic services and programs, such as drug, firearms and ammunition, DNA and breath-alcohol analysis and identification programs. It also offers photographic and digital imaging and expert witness testimony services. The department is located in Hot Springs, Ark.
