Poor Management

Francis "so call manager" is very disrespectful, rude and has a nasty attitude. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!!!!!

if you think "luxurious" means "absolutely awful"

The complex looks "luxurious" as they advertise around as "Houma's most luxurious apartments" and have staff going out of their way to be nice to you.



Maybe it is if you think "luxurious" means after signing a contract: your bathtub has a 2 inch hole in it (because they wont let you see your actual apartment till move in day), it takes 9 months to fix the bathtub, your apartment smells like rodents have been living there for 6 months, silverfish & spider infestation, huge rats in the parking lot, constant loud non-resident parties, unprofessional and disorganized staff, poor water pressure, water gave my family and I acne and itchy rashes (even with filters), very thin walls (I can hear my neighbor upstairs farting even), very slow internet, unreliable office hours, gates that go for months without being closed, and the list goes on... ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!! Do not fall for this front!

Horrible Management!!!

My daughter and I moved to the Houma area during the first of the year. After looking around for only a short period I chose to move into Southdown. To sum it all up, it was the most horrible, and most expencive six months of our lives. The office workers are very rude, and very unprofessional. The outside landscaping is okay but the inside office area and lobby stayed filthy.Residents blared music at all hours of the night, and the structure of the apartments made every sound crystal clear. Our apartment was by the gate, so every time someone used the intercom or opened the gate, a loud beeping sound followed the residents entire conversation. Vulgar language was written on the walls in chalk and it took management way to long to have it cleaned up. When a car would try and bypass the gate by following someone in, the gate would come off track and a siren would sound for hours. I chose these apartments because I thought it would be very safe since it was gated, but the gates rarely worked. Needless to say I gladly paid the outrageous fee to break the lease. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone, especially for the price. I would however recommend new management, or at least new employees. Every time I had a question or concern I had to wait for someone to get off “MYSPACE” or off a cell phone before I was even acknowledged.
