Houston High School, also known as HHS, is an educational institution that offers a range of academic and enrichment programs. The school enrolls more than 345 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in American history, English, biology, fine arts and algebra. Houston High School employs a staff of over 35 people. The school offers dual-credit programs and operates a student council. It provides a variety of opportunities for sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball and baseball. In addition, the school offers membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. Houston High School is governed by the Houston R-1 School District, which also operates elementary and middle institutions.
