By far the most disgusting service I have ever encounter. I was a bit skeptical because of the area, but I heard the prices were reasonable. I walked into the store approximately around 6:10 pm, an I was not greeted, but I figured since it was slow, maybe the worker was walking around preparing to close. After about browsing for 20-30 minutes, still no assistance. I proceed to walk out an the worker ( Asian Guy in late 50s) says, how can I help you. I informed him I was looking to get a bed, an wanted to know pricing for it, he stated if you buy it I will help you. I told him, I am looking to get a bed but I need t know pricing, warranty an delivery protocol. He stated again, you buy today if you pay now I can help you. I again reinstated that I simply want my questions answered so I can see what my options are, he told me just come back tomorrow an he walked off. I then was furious an called the store asking to speak to a supervisor, he then hung up in my face. This is preposterous. For some one to spent thousands of dollars on furniture an want to use Cash an not finance it, I want assistance. I really wanted this bed set, I mean it came with the works for under 2500.00 but I will not spend my $$ where I cant get help or even greeted until I assure him I was buying there, heck how can I purchase anything if no one will even help answer my questions. I work at a Corporate Firm where we deal with customer service all day. The customers are the ones who pay the bills an help your family live, they should be treated with respect. Superior customer service is what separates “basic” furniture stores from profound stores. I believe this employees is keeping AB Furniture from growing an being more lucrative. The store owner certainly needs to reconsider her workers an their ethics an retrain. This type of service is not tolerated at Exclusive furniture stores in Houston. I love to put my money back into the community an shop at local stores, but I will not assist in benefiting a rude worker!! I called an asked for his supervisor, an he hangs up on me every single time!! I plan on writing a complaint to the State an file a BBB complaint DO BETTER !!!!! TREAT PEOPLE KIND, AN MAYBE THE STORE WILL GROW !!! THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE THE ONE STAR
