Provided by YP.comWhen my old AC pooped out last April, ARS responded promptly and was very friendly while we were talking about buying a new AC. Their guys came out on my schedule to install which was great. Unfortunately, they left quite a mess, including permanent damage to one of my door frames and scratches on my tile. To top things off the AC didn't pass the first city inspection. A few days went by without me hearing from anyone and lo and behold the AC stopped cooling. I called them on a Wednesday saying the unit wasn't cooling, it hadn't passed inspection and reminded them of the "Lifetime Guarantee." They said someone was on the way. I fell asleep on the couch that night waiting for them to call or show up. They called the next morning during my exam and said they had tried to call and say they were on their way that night but that I didn't answer - checked my call log - nope - no missed calls. After my exam they called and once again said they were on their way - and never showed up! The next evening I called and told them I'd been waiting for two days now and that I needed someone immediately since I was flying out the next morning and I wasn't going to leave my pet in a sweltering condo. No one ever came and around midnight I had to call and have them page the person on call every five minutes. Still nothing. My dad finally called the credit card company around 1 am and canceled payment to ARS and then called ARS and told them payment would not be made until the AC was working and passed inspection. They showed up the day after I got home and did something. The AC worked for a couple days and then I was back to square one. It's now the end of July and I have to call them every couple of weeks to get my AC cooling again. I can't imagine worse service than this.
