My home was severely damaged due to a fire in March 2010. Half of the home had fire damage and the rest was all smoke damaged. ABC Restoration, completed all restoration in time for us to throw a 4th of July party this weekend, friends and family were as amazed and astonished as we were on all the hard work and dedication ABC put into our home. We hired ABC Restoration Services in December of 2008 to repair damages to our home that were caused by a tree falling through our house during Hurricane Ike. The owner of the company, Phil Bryant, personally came to our house to assess the damage and told us that they could complete the repairs in 9-12 weeks. To date, all repairs have not been completed. Additionally, ABC workers caused damaged to and even stole property from our home. For example, damage to kitchen appliances (stainless steel fridge/stainless steel cooktop) and cabinetry, hazardous debris in yard not cleaned up, knobs not working properly in upstairs shower/tub, and whirlpool tub not functioning due to damage by ABC, just to name a few.

Because this was an insurance claim, and all funds were to be disbursed through our mortgage company, we revised the contract to reflect payment terms as dictated by our mortgage company. ABC Restoration agreed to these terms and has collected all funds due to them to date, even fraudulently depositing a check without legal endorsement. The final payment is pending a 100% completion inspection by our mortgage company. This inspection has not been scheduled, as the job has incomplete components.

Apparently ABC Restoration is unwilling to continue the work and instead wants full payment. They have filed a lien on our property, even citing a dollar amount that exceeds our contract amount, and despite the fact that they submitted a "Conditional Waiver of Lien" to our mortgage company.

There are several items of work that are inadequate and should be covered under their warranty. For example, the newly-installed hot water heater is not working properly, and hot water is not always available to all parts of the house. However, ABC Restoration has been unwilling to make right the many wrongs that are still pending.

Worst experience ever! And problems are still ongoing! I would never recommend using ABC Restoration.

my house was flooded a few years back and i called this company for water damage restoration. For me this was a very hard moment to deal with. having your home trashed and everything you own is damaged, but when i called the person who answered the phone was very rude. She didn't care that i was devastated and continue to be very rude. she made it very clear that all this company cares about is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ which is understandable. money makes the world go around, but the simple fact is that a company should not put the dollar before the customer. i would of gladly paid any price for a company that would of helped with the damage and tell me what i should do and i did find that company somewhere else. Please do not use this company.
