Once I make sure my dad has enough oxygen I will be writing a full of things I observed in the day and a half my dad was there.. I'm very big on reviews and I was on my lunch taking my mom the other reviews that are on google I will post there too.

My mother, Ena van Dix was in rehabilitation at your facility for about two weeks starting March 19, 2015.



On March 21st, a nurse assistant was so rude to me I was left in shock. I reported her verbal abuse to Nurse Loris Griffin who told me that helper Nell had just gotten back from dealing with a medical issue with her father and that she was stressed. Nurse Griffin said that she would talk to Nell about her behavior.



On March 27th I passed Nell in the hall. I said, "Good morning." She told me to, "Go to hell."



Over all My brother and I were pleased with the Accel facility, as we were on a previous stay for my mother in 2014.



However, after this last experience with your employee Nell, we will choose another facility for rehabilitation if she is still employed there.



Nell was, as I observed, rude, loud, argumentative, abrupt, and hateful to the patients.

This is the worst rehab. No one smiles, the food is awful, the nurses and aids don't care. Meds are not always right. I had been at Gardens of Bellaire, which is great - last summer. I had to have knee surgery in August and went to Accel at Hermann Park this time cause it was new and close to home. I got there on Thursday and by Monday I couldn't wait to leave and I transferred over to Gardens of Bellaire.

Physical Therapy didn't work with me as long as they were supposed to, and they aren't friendly. My meds were given wrong and written wrong in my chart. They couldn't get my pain meds straightened out, consequently, my pain was not controlled. The TV is not in front of the bed - that wall is just a blank white wall - the TV is on top of a dresser over in a corner - not too comfy. Don't go here!!
