Nothing but praise for AMed Community Hospice! My mom was put on hospice 2 years ago, so we really got to know the caregivers and the Caseworker, Donna. Donna visited her at least twice a week and CNA Marianna (sp!) gave her baths 3 times a week. Both Donna and Marianna were the most caring, loving people we could have hoped for....

When it was determined that my mom was "actively dying", Donna ordered 24-hour round-the-clock bedside assistance. That meant that, in the final week, my mom had someone at her bed ALL THE TIME. The hospice workers that AMed sent out were very sympathetic and caring; all the time helping our family cope with our loved one's passing. We all learned a lot about how to say our good-byes and ensure my mom's peaceful transition. I am very satisfied with how it all went, and very THANKFUL TO AMED Hospice for everything.
