Do not put your loved one in this facility. It looks and sounds wonderful, but it is not. My mom was there 7 months and I visited her 1-7 days a week. The activities are mainly watching TV. The caregiver to staff ratio is much higher than advertised. When they were short-handed, one person could be responsible for 15 patients. Even when they were fully staffed (which never happened on the weekends), the patients were neglected. Staff would gather in a hallway or breakroom to visit for hours, ignoring a bowel movement running down resident's leg, or one complaining about being too cold. Diapers were not changed (I marked mom's so I would know). Medicines were not given as directed or not given at all. (Morning meds were sometimes given at 11:00am). Staff, including director, was rude. (I once asked a staff if mom had spilled her oatmeal or spit it out, and she told me, 'Don't mess with me", and walked away.) Mom's health declined rapidly while she was there, but most of her issues were resolved once I moved her to a place she was cared for.
