Bharata Darshana is a premier school of Indian Classical Dance & Music offering in depth Bharathanatyam training in its pristine purity - the world famous Kalakshetra Style. Carnatic Vocal and Mridangam classes are also available. Classes are conducted for beginners as well as advanced and for kids and adults. Bharatha Darshana was founded in Chennai, India in 1988 by its Director Guru Smt. Nagamani Srinivasa Rao, known worldwide as "Mani Akka", sister of legendary Bharathanatyam Guru Padmashri Adyar K Lakshman. Bharatha Darshana's USA branch is run in Houston, by is Associate Director Soujanya Madhusudan, daughter-in-law of Smt Nagamani and a highly acclaimed and experienced Bharathanatyam Performer, Choreographer and Teacher.
