Cafe Adagio was a great alternative to the Red Cat or Sambuca's. The music area holds about 50 people plus the bar. They have a second conversation area for those who need a little distance from the stage. The turn out was light but enthusiastic. The music was great. The second set was dynamite with great solos from the lead guitar and drummer. The sax was really solid. As always the vocals were over powered by the band. A shame.



The lighting was mood modifying but not dark. The staff were friendly and attentive. The kitchen came out with free offerings of chili and corn bread that really hit the spot. The cover was typical. The house drink prices were a little over the top. Hope their kitchen develops a lite menu.



Definitely in the repeat category. Could become a favorite hangout on a weekend
