I still can't believe what has happened to me in that clinic. I have a severe pain in my wisdom tooth, so 3 days ago, I went to this clinic because it is located somehow close to my place. The only dentist they had that day was DDS Manik Joshi. I explained to DDS Joshi which tooth I'm suffering from and she agreed on extracting it. The front desk manager asked me again about which tooth I wanted to extract and I confirmed, "the wisdom tooth". During the operation my mouth was numb, I didn't know exactly which tooth that dentist was operating on, but I felt like my jaw was about to break while she was moving a tooth in all directions to loosen it. I stopped her because I was choking with my blood but she pushed me back and told me don't move. I had to stop her 3 times because she couldn't pull the tooth and she said; it is a very strong tooth because it is the wisdom tooth so you have to bear with me because I am the only one here now! Finally, she pulled a tooth and put bandages, wrote prescriptions and I thanked her and left home. After 2 hours, I removed the bandage to replace it with another, I was shocked to find out that she pulled the wrong tooth, not the wisdom tooth but the only tooth I had next to the wisdom tooth!!!!! I went back to the clinic with my mouth full of blood, and told the front desk manager about what happened, and she said, oh the dentist left, I'm sorry but don't cry, I will make her extract your wisdom tooth with no charge!!!
I went back next day trying to complain and resolve the issue politely, but I was insulted by dentist Joshi, instead of taking responsibility for her malpractice and apologize for her mistake, she said: okay if you want compensation, take your compensation now and go!! She denied her responsibility for pulling the wrong tooth and she was rude and loud.
I asked to have my X-Ray and the other documents that they made me sign, but they didn't give them to me. The front desk manager said she was going to e-mail me the docs but she never did.
I feel violated, insulted and mistreated!
