My mechanic took 9 parts from my Porsche to be chromed and powder coated (black) back on 10/27/16. None of the parts are massive in size. Being a reasonable person, I expected this job to be completed within 3-31/2 weeks tops. We are at 48 days and so far 6 pieces have been returned 2 of which are wrong (powder coated instead of chromed). Asked Al 3 times during this ordeal to see the chrome parts and was given an excuse about EPA and can't let anyone in his 'lab'. His estimate for the work that he has not completed is excessive and the workmanship of what I have in possession is terrible, thankfully 4 of the 6 won't be visible, but 2 will need to be redone, and the rest has yet to be seen. I will not ever take or have someone take parts to a person who is not an honest businessman. I should have looked him up on line to see if he had any negative experiences- seems like a few have had a bad time with him.

Rip-off artist who jobs-out his chrome plating to another well-established chrome plating shop.

Way over-priced. He shafted me on price and did a mediocre job on top of that and I'll never do business with him again nor will I ever recommend or even mention I did business with him.

Al did an amazing shop on my Infiniti FX. Very knowledgable and very professional. Will do business with Chrome City again!
