Cimarron Elementary School is a public school that provides early education to students in prekindergarten to grade five. It was established in 1954 and is a part of the Galena Park Independent School District. The school offers courses in various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. The fine arts curriculum offers courses in music, art, physical education and Spanish. The school has various clubs and organizations, such as Kid's Day, science club, honor choir, safety patrol, a student council, ladies association of sophistication and style, rodeo art program, math club and boys organization of strength and style. Its library and media center offers a large collection of books and electronic resources, such as STAR Reading, Odyssey, ABC World, Wild West Math, Chuck Wagon Bill's Language Skills and Mathosaurus. The school also provides transportation and nutrition services.
