Founded in 1943, Cloverleaf Elementary School serves more than 900 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its facility includes more than 50 classrooms, a lunchroom, computer laboratory, learning center, multipurpose room and a clinic area. The school supports a variety of extracurricular activities, such as theater, author presentations and cultural events. Its sports activities include basketball, baseball, soccer, track, hockey, volleyball and football. Additionally, the school provides training for golf, gymnastics, cycling, skateboarding and bowling. Its after-school programs include the East Harris County youth program and the 21st century learning center. The Cloverleaf Elementary school is located in Houston and is a part of the Galena Park Independent School District.
