Provided by YP.comStay away!! Back in mid January of 2014 my mom was there to finish out some IV antibiotics. Mom developed a chest "infection" from aspirating severely on a Wednesday evening. Mom had a Feeding Tube surgically placed 1/1/2014. They weren't checking mom's residual on her feeding tube like they are supposed to each and every time which helps prevent and monitor aspiration. Her temp was 103. She was doing so well and was to go home that weekend.... her birthday was on Sunday. They had staff changes at The Concierge including upper management from a crappy place called Park Manor that very week. (1 star ratings/ reviews/health inspections out of 5 stars). They had awesome nurses quit left and right with the new change, and had been hiring off the street to start the same day to fill these positions. This Park Manor group are a very incompetent group that tries to play the CYA (Cover Your A$$) game but it wasn't working out for them they found out. A brand new nurse removed my mom's picc line and was NOT supposed to! Strict orders to not remove it until she was released. Then we spoke to a nit wit doctor (they use different ones every day) that told us that she was dying from the aspiration pneumonia and that it was a "good way to die". She went in depth explaining it. What the heck? Seriously woman? I am sure she is the same type of person that takes their old dog and dumps it at the pound /shelter to be euthanized just because it's getting old and they got a new puppy. I walked away and told her that I was not going to have her talk to about my mom like that. No one talks about my mom like she's a dog! So the next day another doctor started mom on more antibiotics orally this time because remember, her Picc line was removed. >:{ We were told that day it wouldn't help because she's had too many antibiotics as it was recently. They had been giving mom breathing treatments as well. She threw up several times too. Poor mom was coughing so bad she couldn't rest. Just when she improves and is back to herself, finally feeling good, this happens. I was beyond livid at this point with this new group and their incompetent new employees. We got mom home via ambulance and placed her under hospice care. She fought a hard battle, beat the pneumonia but passed away a few months later on 4/27/14. If you love your family, please don't take them here!
