I have started taking classes with Gloria as a beginner salsa student, and it has been fabulous. While Gloria conducts her classes with discipline and professionalism, you will have FUN. This is where you really learn how to dance and be in a fun and safe environment. I Student body is diverse and friendly. The steps are explained fully and the process is gradual, so you feel at ease moving forward the levels as you get better. I highly recommend this place for all the dance enthusiasts.

The studio has very nice dancing rooms and our instructor - Enrique - was just amazing! He really knows what he does and he created a beautiful wedding first dance for us. We danced a waltz (A thousand years, Christina Perri), and he was attentive enough to ask about my dress and create a dance that I would be able to perform. He was very patient and did everything he could to please us. All our guests were amazed!! I would totally recommend the studio!

It has been a very good learning experience for my husband and me in Gloria's group- ballroom dance class. Whether you are a student with some ballroom dance experience or a complete novice, you will learn well -as Gloria is a methodical and patient teacher. She and her team are eager to help you out, if you feel confused in need of catching up with the rest of the group. The students also bond well with each others .You will learn the steps while having a lot of fun in a very relaxed and congenial atmosphere. I highly recommend Gloria's ballroom classes for those who want to learn while having ton of fun!

My fianc and I have been attending various salsa and ballroom classes with Gloria, Milly and Karen over the past two years and kept coming back. The instructors are super nice, patient and experienced and really do work hard to come up with fresh new routines for the group classes so that the experienced dancers learn something new always. We'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new hobby, looking to dance or looking for private lessons (:

My first ever salsa class was with Gloria at Dance Passion 8 years ago. I loved the class and her style of teaching. The classes were taught in a very structured but friendly way. The atmosphere in her classes were always very relaxed and welcoming. I quickly progressed to the advanced level due to her clear instructions and professional ways of teaching. However I had to leave and go overseas for 8 years with my work. Six months ago when I returned to Houston, the first thing I did was to enroll in her classes again. I have to say after 8 years I feel like I am starting anew in the city since most of my former friends are no longer in the area, but I fit right into her classes and feel like I am back 'home with my friends'! I highly recommend her classes and style of teaching to everyone, including those who feel that they have two left feet! She can make a dancer out of almost everyone!!!

I've been taking Salsa classes here since February and love it! Every week we learn something new and every month we put it together into a routine. Dace Passion has small classes so the dance teacher also takes the time to observe and gives you advice on how you can, for example, turn better. It's fun and it's challenging!

The Gloria's Dance Passion team is very professional, friendly and funny! It gives several classes during the week from Tuesday to Saturday morning, so you have no excuses to take a wonderful salsa class! Domenico

I have to say I enjoyed this place and the teachers from Gloria Milly and Tina I was going while I was in college now I am busy with work but it was fun learning from them all nice and lovely teachers I would recommend this place , intact I did to some of my mma friends .

When I first attended salsa class at Dance Passion, I was shy and anxious. I wasn't sure I will get what I expected to learn in the class. Soon I realized that I was not alone, many of them have been here for months or over a year, and they have the same interest in dancing! Soon I have met a bunch of friends and we get together sometimes outside the class for social events. One of the greatest experiences I had was to attend my belly dance instructor's performance at Agora. I never know how complicated belly dancing can be, and I never know how she can dance that well! All I can say is "WOW"! At salsa classes, the instructors pay attention to each one of us, and they correct individual's problem. Whenever I ask, they listen. I told my private instructor all the problems I found when I dance with someone at the club, she helped me work through all my problems. She even tried in many ways to make me feel how it feels like when a guy is leading me. All in all, I found my passion!

I have been taking Salsa Classes since Sept and Ballroom since Oct. I am having a blast. Do not worry about being by yourself. These are group classes and I do not see another studio offering group classes. They are economical and FUN. And it is great exercise.

This is SO much fun! (I'm taking the beginning Salsa class) I signed up to attend the class alone, which seems intimidating, but once you get there you will find most of the class came in alone. And we are all in this together. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses in this. Gloria has been my teacher, and she has incredible patience. You will love her positive attitude and persistence in helping you get it right! Relax, sign up, have fun. Bellydancing next! :)

I have been taking ballroom dance classes at Dance Passion for about a year. The classes are fun. All of the instructors that I have met are very good. They break down the steps and are very attentive to help the students get the steps. A great place to learn to dance.

It has been a few months since we joined ballroom and salsa classes at this very affordable, friendly place. We have many classmates who have been there with us for many months; all advancing together as weeks and months go by. The dedication of many of us repeat-students is testimonial to the patient teachers (Gloria, Milly, Tina) who also push us with new moves each class and provide feedback during the lessons. The dance school is well kept, flexible schedules, very reasonable cost and they encourage us to participate and practice outside classses via school organized club trips or the friday event at the school itself. What started as a wake-up-our-dancing-gene venture is now a precious hobby and we eagerly look forward to our weekly classes and fun time with the friends, teachers and ourselves. Love this place! My husband and I started dance lessons in Jan 2012 with NO dance experience. In fact I really felt that me dancing was a lost cause. We have had a blast and learned so much. I feel completely comfortable dancing in social settings now and Monday night dance class is the high light of the week.

This is the only belly dance place that I found so much fun and challenge with new movements and new steps that Yazmin, our instructor, put up for her students. This is not only a dancing class but also teamwork and friendship environment.

I began taking belly dancing classes under Yazmin as a way to mix up my exercise regimen. Her passion and enthusiasm is so contagious that I now have friends over to my house every week to practice. Her instruction technique is perfect for me as a beginner, because she breaks the movements down into manageable steps. I have gone from not dancing in public since The Bump went out of style to anticipating the first performance of our newly formed belly dancing troupe.

I have been taking Bellydance lessons from Yazmin at Dance Passion since January 2010. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude to Yazmin for the expert instruction and fun that I have had. My body has transformed from weak and creaky to flexible and strong. This is truly the right class for any age woman that is interested in dance and wants to be more fit. The potential for artistic expression in this form of dance is limitless....an added bonus.

Definitely the best dance studio for classes! I have been going for the past few months for salsa classes and I have so much fun every time I go! Everyone is very nice and friendly. Gloria is a pro at what she does and she has a great supporting cast. The studio is very well kept, clean and neat. Every now and then they also organize a club night, where instructors and students get together outside of class to go dancing. Classes are a great opportunity to make some new friends; I now have a group of friends from class and we go dancing almost every Friday! On top of all that, its very affordable.Try this place out. You won't regret it!
