As the title says, he really did change my life. I've struggled and fought with this pain for years, until I finally sucked it up and found a TMJ dentist in Houston close to me. And I'm so glad that it was Dr. Barras. He was actually compassionate, something I wasn't expecting, and really did his best to make sure that I understood all of the medical things he was saying. His treatment has worked wonders, yay! no more pain!! Also I should mention that the staff was incredibly sweet. My life has been changed from not living with TMJ pain practically 24/7. If you're somewhat near him in Houston, I highly recommend Dr. Barras for your TMJ treatment.

I absolutely felt the need to have to write a review about the wonderful experience that I had with Dr. Barras. At 45 years old, I have experienced countless visits with the knowledge to know that you can have very different types of visits to the doctor. After dreading to go for months, My wife finally called for my TMJ symptoms. After it was all finished my nervousness was completely relieved, and I feel 100% better. The TMJ plan he has set for me has worked wonders. Thank you so much Dr. Barras, you have a wonderful office. He is the best TMJ dentist in Houston.

I can't even believe that I am writing a review on a dentist, but the amazing experience that I had with Dr. Barras and the entire team at his office was so amazing that I feel obligated. My teeth have always been "not great" and over the years I've become more aware and more self conscious about them, so much so that I would only smile closed-lipped. After some encouragement from my husband, I finally looked up a cosmetic dentist in Houston and stumbled upon Dr. Barras and his smile makeovers. His reviews and before/after pics were pretty great but the fact that he has an entire weekday reserved just for smile makeovers was the true selling point.
After the initial consult (where I was a bit nervous, to be honest), I truly could not be more happy with my new smile. Dr. Barras has made me feel like a new person. He is an AMAZING cosmetic dentist and knows exactly what he's doing, so if you need a cosmetic dentist in Houston, you should definitely look him up.
