SCAMMMMMM!!!!!! Horrible Service,

I contacted DFC to schedule my tile kitchen floor to be cleaned. The customer service person asked me many different types of questions such as type of floor, how big, etc to be able to give me the appropriate quote. After answering all the questions I was informed that the cleaning would cost anywhere from .35 per/sqft to .75 per/sqft. I knew my tile was dirty so I figured the .75 rate would be charged. I scheduled the appointment for the next available day. The cleanup team arrived to my home late without a call. Upon arrival, the team began setting up their hoses and spraying a cleaner on the tile to do the “test spot”. The tile looked better and they asked me if I wanted to continue. I confirmed I wanted them to continue. About half threw the cleaning the team informed me that the cleaner cost extra. I said I was told that the highest cost would be .75 per/sqft for dirty tile. The crew then stated now that is for no cleaner spray and the office misquoted me. This was going to double the overall cleanup cost. I contacted the company about the issue and told them of the error in my quote and there response was too bad. When I asked why they would give me a range quote from lowest to highest and then exceed that quote they informed me because its depending upon the tile you have (i.e. Laminate to Ceramic) . I replied, that does not make any sense because you asked my specifically what kind of tile and I informed you. The manager’s response was well we give our quotes like that because people don’t know what kind of tile they have. I continued to go back and forth with the manager about the wrongful SCAM quote and they refused to do anything. I then asked, since chemicals are an extra charge then why did the guys not conduct a test spot without the chemicals to see if it would clean without it. The manager could not give me an answer. He then contacted the cleanup team to ask them why. The manager then called be back and informed me that the cleanup team did not feel it would work without cleaner so they only tested it with the cleaner. I told the manager that this is not a good business practice and now they have been cleaning with cleaner the whole time because it would cost more.

After about 20minutes on the phone and getting nowhere with the manager and company, I informed them that I would be giving a negative review for poor customer service, a scam quoting system, and poor work. The response from the manager was “please don’t do that, but we will not change our position. “

After the cleaning was completed, I inspected the areas and had to have the cleanup guys go back over missed places. The cleanup guys told me that the dirt around the edges was just the grout but when I picked at it came up. The team did not want to continue to clean and were very rude when I asked them to go back over certain areas. Once it was finally completed the crew unassembled there hoses and leaked water all over my wood floor and drug their hoses through my flower beds pulling up newly planted flowers.

This has been by far the worst customer service I have ever received and I would not recommend this company to any person or business. There quoting and policies are designed to scam their customers to make more money not do good business and work to earn it.

If anybody was curious why I chose DFC, it was because of espn radio always talking about the company and promoting the business saying they are fast and give excellent customer service. I guess the advertisement worked.
