To whom this may concern:
My name is Krystal and I am contacting you due to a store complaint. I recently visited your store ( 90 FM 1960 West Houston Tx 77090-3531, Store # 6017) on 10/17/2015 @14:05pm with my two nephews. While we were checking out one of your sales associates told my youngest nephew (age 7) that "he was a lil thug". In his defense and for clarification I asked the lady what did she say. She repeated to me and him that he "looked like a lil thug". I find this remark to be HIGHLY OFFENSIVE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I told her the reason you called him a thug is because hes black? He has on a hat? A gold chain? Michael Jordan shoes? NO HE IS NOT A THUG, HE IS A 7 YEAR OLD LITTLE BOY. HE IS A GENTLEMAN. As we checked out I asked that cashier to speak to whom ever was in charge. Your supervisor came out and spoke to me. I informed her about what was going on. I DEMANDED a apology from the very rude and disrespectful lady. She came out the store and told my 7 year old nephew that " YOURE NOT A THUG, YOUR HANDSOME"!!! Sorry to say that is not good enough for him or me. She walked off in his face. A 7 year old innocent child, a true gentleman, my nephew. How dare you. How dare you!!! I asked to speak to the store manager and I explained to her the situation. She was VERY RUDE AND MEAN. She was no help at all. My nephew feelings are very hurt. He is upset. How do you explain to a 7 year old child that an adult can say such mean and evil things to a child? How do you explain to a child that some adults are bullies? I am very hurt, upset, anger, distraught, and sad by this situation. Since this has happened I have not been able to sleep due to the fact that I am worried and concern for his mental and emotional status. I do not shop at your store to be bullied or disrespected. I hope to hear from someone on this matter.
