I was very disappointed with this podiatrist. I showed up for an initial visit on a Monday and by Friday from a 10 minute talk with the doctor about the procedure that wasn't going to be performed for another two and a half months I received a box of medicine consisting of 5 prescriptions and a topical cream in which I was told I was suppose to take starting immediately. The first test they did was a DNA test and when I asked why, nobody in that office could explain why including the nurse. Nobody could explain why I received a box of medicine for everything from internal bleeding to gastrointestinal problems and I am a healthy person. They used a compound Pharmacy I have never heard of before though my information indicated Sam's Pharmacy. They billed me for a urine test four months after my initial visit though he never did my surgery. Between the pharmacy and this doctor office including Dr. Maislos who would not call me and tell me why he prescribed all this medicine, made me furious and feel this office is not acting in the best interest of patients as opposed to his pocket. My insurance company was being billed over $4,500. I got it all reversed and sent the medicine back post paid by the Pharmacy. Hint, that never happens if those prescriptions were legit. After my experience, I would never recommend this podiatrist. I had to find another podiatrist and pay for initial doctor visits all over again. Then to have this office billing for services four months after my initial visit is insulting after having gone thru what I did with them. I wish there was a zero overall rating option. 1 is too high.
