Dr. William McKee joined MCH on Sept 1, 2015 and is board certified in Internal Medicine. After graduating with a degree in Economics from Rice University, Dr. McKee moved to Washington D.C. where he did a research fellowship with the National Institute of Health, then served as a Health Legislative Aide for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Returning to Houston, he completed his medical school degree and residency at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. Dr. McKee specializes in adult primary care focusing on his patients general well-being and preventative care as well as the management of multiple and complicated diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. When indicated, he will collaborate closely with sub-specialists to ensure his patients receive the care they need in a timely manner. Dr. McKee also has a passion for medical missions working with Faith in Practice a week each year.
