Provided by YP.comSCAM WARNING!!: my fridge stoped cooling so I contacted ericks appliances,they charged me $50 on the spot to set up appointment the next day which the “technician” was late 4hrs. It happens no problem. The “technician” gets to my home and leaves in less than 10 min diagnoses it’s a bad compressor. It comes out to be a $450 to $500 bill. It threw some red flags so I decided to do some research. Thanks to google and YouTube I was able to diagnose my fridge in less than an hr. It happens to be my relay switch wich I purchased the same day for $23. Replaced it myself in less than 15 min. My fridge is working perfectly fine now. WOW.. BTW I purchased the relay switch from ADVANCED APPLIANCES on 35 in front of McDonald’s. They were very helpful and even helped me on telling me how to install the new relay switch. Talked to Erick personally did nothing to make it right.

Provided by YP.comThis shop is running a dishonest business. They are selling untested/defect appliance. All their claimed warranty or services are a joke. An advice to all landlords and realtors, it is not worth buying a used appliance, specifically from this shop, because it is a waste of time and money when you had issues with those appliances.
I am a realtor and work for landlord and manage the rental properties. Found this store and referred it to a landlord for saving some bucks to buy a used gas stove. By end of June 2013, the landlord bought a black gas stove and installed on a rental property. The tenants moved-in in August 1 and after a few days, complained the oven did not lit up at all. The landlord called the Shop many times, but nobody picked up the phone. So the landlord came by the shop. Erick asked $30 for trip charge of repair.
No problem. He paid. Tenants’ satisfaction is landlord’s the highest priority. Technician scheduled a repair with tenants, but never showed up. Scheduled 2nd time, no show up also. Contact to Erick, but never resolved, even they charged $30. In earlier September, I suggested the landlord buy new one to make tenants happy. The non working stove was placed in the rental property.
Called Shop for refund, but Eric said exchange only. Fine. In late Oct, I accompanied landlord to exchange with another black gas stove for use in future rental properties.
Another tenants moved –in in the rental property in late Nov 2013, where the exchanged stove (2nd one) installed, and complained the oven could not be turned off after lit up. Contacted the shop again on Dec 10, Erick insisted in the warranty expired and could not do anything, even we got the 2nd one only less than 2 months.
Over the phone, Erick also said they did not provide in-home service at all. But on its web site, it says: “We provide 3 , 6 , UP TO 12 months WARRANTY on all of our service and repair. Erick’s Resale Shop and appliances repair provides in-home service on a flexible schedule that meets your time restraints, not ours.”
I said put warranty issue aside, and told her we can pay reasonable repair cost, because my goal is to have tenants having a working oven. My tenants’ satisfaction is my highest interest.
After that talk, I was trying to contact the shop, by phone and SMS, never had response anymore. It seems they did not want to do anything but sell you things, even I said I would pay the repair. After no response in 3 days, I came by the shop. Erick was not there. Manager called him, but said Erick did not want to do anything.
For a period, I referred landlords and tenants to buy some used appliance for saving some money, but that is before we ran into the issue. I do not recommend this shop. You can only bet to buy a functional used appliance, but will waste all your money if you are unlucky to have a non functional one.
