We have 2 children at ELC and we love the staff! obviously there will be a few hiccups, this is a daycare- what daycare doesn't have its share of hiccups. Our kids are always happy and we love have local childcare in our neighborhood of GOOF.

I don't even know where to begin. The director is terrible, I don't even know how she is qualified for her position. This is the most unorganized, money hungry "church" childcare program I have ever seen. Aside from a few good teachers, the rest are lazy. I'm convinced they take the child's temperature and say it higher than it is just to send the child home. For instance, they called and said her fever was 101.3 and when my husband got there 15 minutes later and he requested them to take it in front of him it was 99. They move children up to classes before the child is ready just to make room for more children. Your child will not be a top priority here. They also move teachers frequently so you can never really get to like anyone. When diapers, water and formula are needed I'm not told until I drop my child off of after I leave for work. Incident reports aren't always filled out. Overall, I'm completely disgusted with the way this place is ran.

my child went to this school since the age of 6 months. we had a few minor hiccups over the course of the last 4 years, as most parents do. children dont care to learn at that age and just want to have fun. the teachers scheduling of events for the day are backwards. i believe you should do work first then get play time or movies after. if you watch a movie before it gets difficult to have the children, who are all hyped up at this point, to sit down and focus. the most recent incident was between my child and the teacher, who acted out of frustration, and decided to put her hands on my child. as i know the staff very well this was disappointing to me. more so on the teachers behalf as they should never touch a child in a negative manner. needless to say we decided to remove our child from the program. upon doing so I lost a spot for the baby, which no one told us. so here we are left in the dark trying to scramble for another place to put the baby. All in all, over the last several months, I have come to see just how much this school staff and director care about the families and children..... which is pretty much not at all. and to top it off they don't return phone calls or emails in a timely manner. Sadly, I will not be sending my baby here, and honestly I cant recommend any one else send theirs either. it has just become a disappointment all around.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! ...

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! The "teachers" get frustrated if you need something special for your child and are lazy. One day my child came home with bleach stains on her pants. Yes, bleach stains. The toddlers should never be in contact with concentrated bleach. When brought to the attention of the director, she said.....oh, maybe they just didnt dry the changing pad. Really? Yes, many lost items....diaper cream I provided was used on other kids.....I could go on forever. Just now that you get what you pay for. It is much less expensive than other programs and you get what you pay for. Lack of professionalism, and a very dirty environment. DON'T TAKE YOU KIDS HERE!!!!
