Provided by YP.comThe salesman that came out convinced met that the frames on their windows were a lot smaller than their competitors and were of much higher quality. I decided to only replace half the windows now because the cost was so much greater. The windows installed by Gulf Coast Windows have HUGE frames that look horrible, and now I am having to have someone come out and re-frame around the windows upstairs because the paint and wood was severely damaged during installation. I spoke with the general manager and he says I have no recourse because I signed the completion certificate when they finished the installation. I told him it was dark when they finished and did not get a chance to inspect until the following day. I paid $7,125 for 6 windows when other companies had quoted me less to do all of my windows.

Provided by YP.comI replaced all my windows in my house in 2011 along with a sliding glass door & screen for the back of the house. The salesman was terrific and very informative and explained how the window work and how they will save us money. My electric bill is half of what it used to be because the heat literally stays outside. The windows do not get hot even with the sun shining through. They are fantastic and live up to what the salesman said to us. Recently I got a hole in my window in the front possibly from a rock hitting it, not exactly sure how it happened. Adrien from Gulf Coast windows came out and replaced the window for me. Adrien was quick, professional, very polite and totally knew what he was doing. He helped me move my furniture to get to the window. Before he left he said if there are any problems just call and let him know. As far as I'm concerned Gulf Coast Windows is an awesome company with high quality products and wonderful employees. Thank you Gulf Coast Windows.

Provided by YP.comA little more then 5 years ago (May 12, 2011) had all my single pain windows replaced (29 Windows). My AC bill was cut by 40% and the house is comfortable all the time now. The house use to get warm and then AC would come on and cool down, all day this would go on, now the house remains at a constant temperature. Reliant Energy sends out a report every Monday. Our house is always in the most efficient column on the weekly report.
Gulf Coast Windows also gives you a Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Provided by YP.comAs an Real Estate Agent at Greenwood King, I deal with service companies everyday regarding bids and scheduling repair service for my clients. I can honestly say I was especially impressed with Gulf Coast Windows service and amazing follow-through. I can't say that about most other service companies. Gulf Coast jumped through hoops last minute for us and delivered great service. I am especially appreciative GCW's sales associate, Jeff Allen, for his hard work and incredible professionalism. He saved the day and make my clients very happy. I will continue to refer Gulf Coast Windows to other agents, friends, clients and anyone else as they are the BEST & MOST RELIABLE IN THEIR FIELD.

Provided by YP.comIt would not let me post without at least 1 star. I would give negative stars of I could.
I had 17 windows installed by Gulf Coast windows. I went with them because of their superior reputation. I was willing to pay the extra money. My windows leak buckets of water. They will not fix the problem. They are trying to use silicone calking around the outside of the trim to make the seal. They will not disclose standard installation procedures to compare how they installed my windows. Water literally pours into the house. I cannot believe they are not fixing the original problem and that they have totally ruined my house and feel no responsibility for it. My windows did not leak before the replacement and I survived IKE without a drop of water inside my house. Now I cannot even survive a spring rain with my new hurricane windows. BEWARE

Provided by YP.comNot bad could be better. I just spent 8,000 with them for patio door and 4 new windows. I had to clean up the windows, smudges left behind, and 3 of the windows had sheetrock mud I had to redo along the frame.
I would NOT use them again. Guardian Windows is MUCH better for price and installation. Cleaning up after window jobs is NOT fun.

Provided by YP.comafter great consideration we went with Gulf Coast Windows. We wanted and needed a company that had the reputation and longevity to get the job done and do it right. We got several estimates and though they were not the cheapest...it was a great investment. Energy bills are down, home is prettier and its quieter. Every step went smoothly from the sales presentation, to the administrative communication then finally the installation. It was worth the investment and i recommend them highly.

Provided by YP.comTo our neighbors on West Beach and all of the Gulf Coast area, my wife and I would like to extend the raw wind
facts concerning Gulf Coast Windows with regard to Hurricane Ike! On site at 4201 Oleander St, located on West
Beach in Galveston~.TX we want to share the raw facts. While our neighbors were. securing their beach
properties, we were confident of whatever Ike would blow in our direction because we had recently installed the
best windows on the market. The construction and installation of Gulf Coast Windows stood the test that was
stated in the claims made by Gulf Coast Window salesmen. Not a single drop of water penetrated our beach
home, "Little Blue". There were screens scattered all over the neighborhood from other homes, but not one was.
missing from "Little Blue"! Here's to Gulf Coast Windows, a product that surely stood up to ''Terrible Ike" allowing
us this opportunity to share with you photos of "Little Blue".
Not only were we impressed with Gulf Coast Windows when "Terrible Ike" came to Galveston, we were amezed
with the professionalism and the willingness of the company to work with us concerning the financing and the
completion of the job to our satisfaction. They were also willing to work with our budget to make this a re.ality
and we are grateful to such a company as Gulf Coast Windows.

Provided by YP.comMr. Billings:
Wanted to thank you and all the folks at Gulf Coast. I had a 70 plus year old
house with original windows. Some were leaky, some painted shut, all the usual
problems that happen here with our Texas climate.
I had Gulf Coast replace 24 windows, and what a difference it has made. My
house is cooler in the summer, wanner in the winter and cleaner all year long! Over
the long haul, 1 believe these windows will pay for themselves in lower power bills.
Gulf Coast made this major project go smoothly. The sales people were
great, the installation took only one day and the clean up was outstanding.
People will spend $10,000.00 on new living room furniture and never touch
their windows. As one who was done lots of remodeling, I can teU people that new
windows with Gulf Coast are a great project that will really improve their
enjoyment of their home.

Provided by YP.comWe recently purchased 14 windows from Gulf Coast Windows which were installed on March 21 and 22nd by two installers. We have been very please with the windows and wish to commend Gulf Coast Windows from the sales thru installation effort. The installation was done very professionally and both individuals did a great job keeping us up to date with what to expect next. Neither individual even bothered to take a lunch break on the first day primarily due to a threat of rainstorms. They did a tremendous job and if they are a reflection of Gulf Coast Windows then Gulf Coast should continue to do well in the future. Since we had vinyl siding installed by Gulf Coast several years ago, we were very comfortable with the products and the reputation of the company. Thank you again for the service and treatment that Gulf Coast Windows has given to us over the past and in the future.

Provided by YP.comThe customer service I received from Gulf Coast Windows was terrible. Here's what happened:
Windows bought in August 2004
Outer pane of glass was broken August 3, 2008
Aug 4 - Phoned Gulf Coast Windows requesting a replacement
Aug 12 - Soonest available date an representative could come to my house and measure the opening (What happened to keeping my file available to instantly know my window sizes?)
Sept 10 - Phoned requesting a status update...Service manager was not available, so I left a message. No return call.
September 13 - 27 IKE hit Houston
September 29 - Phoned requesting a status update...Service manager was not available, so I left a message. No return call.
Oct 1 - Phoned requesting a status update...Service manager was not available, so I left a message. No return call.
Oct 3 - Service manager returned my call. They could not find the measurements from Aug 12th. Nothing had been ordered for me. He was going to search for the installation diagram so no one else would have to come measure.
Oct 6 - Window part identified and ordered; Scheduled to install on 10/17 between 8 and 9am
Oct 17 - Service manager called me at 8:40am to tell me the part was NOT going to be delivered today. It would be on next week's truck.
Oct 21 - Part had been delivered to Gulf Coast Windows. Scheduled for installation at 1pm on the Thursday. No one checked with me first, and I could not be available at 1pm on Thursday.
Oct 29 - Installer arrived on schedule and replaced my window.
So much for customer service.
