The hotel staff upon check in was very rude! After booking through third party, we called hotel directly to inform them we were bringing our dog. We asked if they had a weight limit and pet deposit. They woman on the inform told us there was no weight limit or pet fee as it was already built into the cost. When I arrived to check in, the man at the counter said there was a $25 non-refundable fee. Now I am fine with paying a pet fee, but we were told something else. When I told the guy checking us in what we were told, he responds saying "that is not true no one here would say that as they know our hotel policy." This is such POOR customer service! Do not ever call a customer a liar!!! I did not argue any further with him at the counter because we desperately needed a hotel that night and I did not want to risk loosing our room. Whoever manages this hotel needs to teach employees how to talk to customers because miscommunication happens all the time and I understand that completely, but learn how to be respectful to customers.

My boyfriend and I were traveling to Miami. We did not think too much of stopping in Houston. We broke down just before reaching downtown. Well we were very upset and we walked to the closest hotel we could find. We so happen to come accross a Holiday Inn Express. The people were amazing not only did they offer us a bottle of water as we walked in they called the tow truck and a mechanic for us as well. By the time everything was sorted it was too late for us to start driving again. So we decided to stay the night and the rooms were clean and so comfortable. Next time we drive any were close to Houston we will absolutly stay at this hotel.
