I have been a re-seller on Hostgator for 8 1/2 years. For the last couple of years their service has progressively gotten worse.



They recently shut down my largest clients site (appropriately so for the reason), but the never sent any email that it was suspended at all.



When my client contacted me we checked the site and found the issue. We deleted all files, scanned the site, changed passwords and made sure the issue was resolved.



I then immediately sent a support ticket stating that it was ready to be looked over and made live again. This is all in the same morning/afternoon.



Well, it took 4 support tickets, 3 replies to tickets, 3 long phone calls and 7 days for the site to finally be made live again. I had to give my client a free month of hosting and requested the same from Hostgator, but they would not do anything other than "rush the issue through" RUSH? It's been 7 days!



This was the last straw. I am moving away from Hostgator and do not recommend them to anyone!
